The people behind Memory Robin
Katie
CO-FOUNDER · CEO
Katie leads the company. She brings twenty-two years of commercial leadership in life sciences, building and running teams that take complex, regulated products to market. She is also step-mum to two bereaved children, and it was watching her own family carry a loss without the right support that led her to build Memory Robin. She runs the company the way she found the gap: from inside it, with the family at the end of every decision. Katie leads our work with employers, from the first conversation through to a running programme.
Nicola
CO-FOUNDER · HEAD OF TRAINING, RESEARCH AND CONTENT
Nicola leads everything we teach and everything we publish. She was Head of Training and Research at Child Bereavement UK, the charity that defines best practice in supporting bereaved families, and before that a Marie Curie bereavement counsellor. At Memory Robin she owns clinical governance, outcome measurement and every word of our content, and she leads our team of experienced trainers drawn from across the bereavement support network.
Olivia
FOUNDERS ASSOCIATE
Olivia coordinates every programme we deliver: bookings, joining instructions, invoicing, your quarterly reports and the Grief Confident Register, so the lift on your team is minimal. She brings lived experience of teenage bereavement, which is one reason the details are never just admin to her.
Simon
COMMUNITY VOICE
Simon is the reason Memory Robin exists. A widower who raised two grieving children with almost no support, his experience shapes everything we build. His is a lived-experience role: he shares our story, speaks for bereaved families, and inputs into the design of the Memory Robin platform as a parent who knows what a grieving household needs.
The specialists around us
Our training is delivered by experienced bereavement professionals drawn from across the bereavement support network, and all counselling is delivered by independently contracted counsellors who are registered members of the BACP, insured, and in regular clinical supervision. Every specialist works under our standards, our safeguarding procedures and Nicola's quality sign-off.
Building Memory Robin at Home
The Memory Robin at Home platform is currently being built, and we are supported by some incredible partners as we build.
Our advisory board
